Advertisers, I'm sure my claims sound silly...

But, how about I show you some proof.  I recently bought new bumper magnet.  I applied it in the second half of June and received some decent hits.  How decent?  Well, my site was launched in May, and I have ad revenue statistics from May and June.

Here's the test I devised to see if this was actually a worthwhile venture.

  1. I give my site a month of standard "get the word out" methods such as forum posts, craigslist posting, directory listing, and social network promotion.
  2. At the end of that period I would do traffic analysis
  3. If I was unsatisfied with the traffic analysis, then I was to get a bumper magnet
  4. I ensured that I was driving my standard route and not trying to get extra views of my bumper
  5. Analyze traffic at that time
As you will see later, I was HIGHLY impressed with what just such a simple little magnet can do.  Even though it was a bit gratuitous to advertise my own site, I thought that it would be a great test.

My bumper magnet.  It's a 6"x24" magnet, two-color.  Total cost: ~$35

Nice, huh?  Well... do you want to guess how many hits I garnered in two weeks of putting it on?  Well, lets just look at my adbrite account and see!

That's right.  Out of the dozen ad zones I manage daily, I went from ZERO revenue generating hits to 500+ in two weeks.  And this is just with one 6"x24" magnet on the back of a car that commutes 12miles to work.

I'm not making this up.  This IS the next advertisment venue.  Now is the time to start investigating and taking it seriously or you will be left playing catch-up.
